Romania Report

We started the day, by again sorting out last minute preparations for the day. We had 46 children and young people today, we again started by singing ‘My God is so Big’ and continued by reintroducing the song ‘hallelu, hallelu, hallelujah’ which many of the children learned last year. We made the song into a round and had the children sitting and standing, making it more fun for them – and us! Sarah, did today’s memory verse from Acts 16 v 31. Today’s story was the Passover, which Mary & Ken presented between them. Ken, dressed up as Moses again, and a few of the children believe that Ken, is in fact Moses! Which we found very sweet! We then separated, the older children went to work with Mihaela on the keywords and the younger ones to make/decorate bags. We rejoined for the revision of the memory verse, and a recital of yesterday’s. The children have been bringing all their crafts and word lists each day to show them off.
For dinner we were invited to Mary and John (one of the Boy’s & a girl from the Bible club’s grandparents.) We were given a stew, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and a risotto, all if which was lovely!
We then went back to Vali & Mihaela’s and they told us, that the boy who had been bitten by the dog, was still in hospital but fortunately wasn’t as bad as first thought. Glenys, is thankfully much better today! But Ken, has suffered with something quite similar to Glenys so stayed at Vali & Mihaela’s after the Bible Club, and says he feels much better after sleep. Some of the team will be going to the funeral of a man from the church, today. There was a service the day of his death, in the home and the another in the home, here in Moldova Noua today, along with the ceremony at the graveyard.
We have started planning our special service on Sunday Evening (available at http://maranata1.netfirms.com at 4 o’clock onwards – UK time)
Tomorrow we are planning on bringing the children the Red Sea, and up into Mount Sinai in the Talk.
Glenys, Deirdre, Sarah, Mary & Ken 
